Privacy policy

DryerDecoder is operated by Prediturk LLC, 9407 NE Vancouver Mall Dr Ste 104 #544, Vancouver, WA 98662 (“we”). This policy explains what we collect when you use DryerDecoder and why. Short version: we collect as little as we can, we do not sell data, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking.

What we collect

• Photos of care tags. Sent to our AI provider to read the symbols and answer you, then discarded. We do not store your photos, except a small thumbnail when you (as a Pro user) choose to save an item to your wardrobe.
• Account details (only if you create an account): your email address, a securely hashed password, the washer and dryer models you enter, and the wardrobe items you save.
• Usage counts. To enforce the free daily limit we record when a scan happens, with a random identifier stored in a first-party cookie and a salted, daily-rotating hash of your IP address (not the address itself).
• Payments. Handled by Stripe through our payments provider. We never see or store your card number; we receive whether your subscription is active.
• Product analytics. Cookie-free, first-party statistics (pages viewed, features used, errors) to improve the app. No advertising identifiers, no third-party trackers.
• Partner referrals. If you arrive through a partner’s link or use their code, we store that code so the partner is credited. The partner does not receive your email or personal details.

Cookies

We only use cookies that are strictly necessary: keeping you signed in, counting free scans, remembering a partner referral code, and keeping track of your purchase with our payments provider. No advertising or analytics cookies.

Who processes data for us

• Our hosting, database, email and AI processing provider (Viski), which runs the app, stores the database and sends account emails.
• Stripe, for payments.
• Our partner program platform (BestResult Partners), for referral attribution.

How long we keep it

Scan counters are kept for up to 90 days. Account data is kept until you delete your account, which you can do at any time from the account page; this removes your account and wardrobe immediately. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to processing. Most of this you can do yourself in your account; for anything else, contact us at info@prediturk.com. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your data protection authority.

Children

DryerDecoder is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and, for account holders, let you know by email.
